What we do
We repair catering equipment and we do it quickly, efficiently and in the full spotlight of our customers.
You may cook in an open kitchen where your customers can see what you are doing from the restaurant. We do the same, working on a system where our customers can have live access to updates for each job we are doing for you.
When you send us a job we log this on our system. You can then see that job appear live on the screen in front of you.
Our engineer will attend the site and produce a job sheet for the work undertaken. This is brought back to the office and all the details are recorded on our system.
If parts are needed, we prepare a quote for the repair and email this to you for approval. When you accept the quote the parts are ordered. You can view the whole process from ordering of the parts to delivery at our office. Then the job is assigned to an engineer who is dispatched to fit the parts.
All of the above is dated and timed so that we can produce KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for our customers.
All information is logged against the item of equipment and the site on our system, so we can we build up a service history of for each item of equipment on site.
We also store Gas Certificates and service report sheets from visits and remedial works carried out in your kitchen.
In these days of certification, compliance and litigation, should you need to produce this information for the EHO or any other authority, we can email it to you straight from our system.
Company Overview
We are a very experienced, dedicated team of catering equipment engineers covering an area from the border of Scotland, through the Central Belt and up to Oban and Dundee. Our wide customer base includes hospitals, nursing homes, schools, prisons, hotels & restaurants. A number of manufacturers have contracts with us to carry out their warranty work in Scotland.
We are subcontracted by many national catering repair companies to attend their Scottish customer base. We also deal with several facilities management companies as their preferred catering equipment specialists.
React Catering Services Ltd was formed on 1st August 2007. Since that time our repair and maintenance service has grown extensively and we have extended our services into other areas including project management, design & install, refrigeration and equipment sales.
React Catering Services Ltd are proud to have been chosen as service partners for MKN and Smeg Commercial Equipment. All our engineers are Rational trained.
We have a diverse range of skills in the team, including a Project Manager. If an engineer comes across a kitchen needing specialist work, for example ventilation design or replacement equipment, our Project Manager will visit the customer and suggest the best way forward.
